Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: Does the child's special need or disability matter?

Eddie's Club welcomes any youngster regardless of their needs. If you are unsure or have further questions, please call Eddie at (703) 304-2330 or contact him through E-mail at eddie@eddiesclub.org.

Question 2: Are siblings allowed to participate?

Eddie's Club volunteers must be 12 years old or older. If your son or daughter meets that requirement then we would be glad to welcome them to the club. However, we have found out that it is best NOT to team the siblings together since they see so much of each other already, unless the parent requests the match up.

Question 3: How much does it cost to join Eddie's Club?

Eddie's Club asks for a contributory cost of $40, per family, for the year. We do, however, have a scholarship plan, which waives the fee for those families that would like to apply. NO questions will be asked and the matter is kept confidential.

Question 4: Do parents have to stay at Eddie's Club while the kids participate?

Parents, once your kids have been teamed up with a volunteer and you have met your child's buddy for the day, you may either leave or stay and observe the fun. It's your choice.

Question 5: Do you have questions?
